On Monday I went to see Lu to get my toenails done and had a nice visit with her and her folks. I did some junking on the way back to Payson. Dad spent the day working on various house projects.
On Tuesday Dad and I met up with the Bridges and Mottishaws to plan a reunion for the Kervinens when they come in April.
I worked on Wednesday, and then in the evening Dave's kids came to spend a few days while their folks were out of town.
At work on Thursday, we managed to isolate this man on the surveillance camera, who appeared to be casing Clint's booth. Clint has cameras in his booth that send a notification to his phone when someone walks past his booth. He watched this guy in blue taking pictures of gold and silver jewelry in a locked case.
Here is Clint screen shotting the guy. He also took all his jewelry home. Technology is amazing.
Becca and Brady's family went to the Ice Castle in Midway.
Fun pictures, eh?
After work we took Dave and Bri's kids to dinner.
They were fun as always.
Dad had picked the kids up from school after his temple shift earlier that day.
Dad also came by and dropped off this table at the antique mall. I've started moving things around at the mall and put together these pitchers.
I think it was that day that I saw a news article about this previously unknown Minerva Teichert painting. Evidently, she gave it to a neighbor boy for his 6th birthday, and it had been in his family since then, until it was recently sold in Salt Lake a few months ago.
After work Friday, Dad took the kids to Becca's before picking me up and together we gathered with friends, mostly from work, to see The Rhythms of Ireland at the Scera. Mary brought us all green ties, or green jewelry.
This was a picture of a few of the girls at the beginning of the program.
Another number.
There was also an Irish band,
and a pipe band too.
I loved the river dancing.
On Saturday Elias went off to a friend's house in Payson, and we took the girls to an Arts program that integrates science and art, at the Rock Canyon trail head above the Provo Temple.
Here's Adi with her artwork.
And here are all the students and the two teachers.
We had an early dinner at McDonald's
Adi's colorful fingers.
Dad spent much of the day putting my countertop display case.
I can't wait to get it to the antique mall.
This week was also Becca and Brady's Top Golf Client activity. Here they are with the Moes and Ashley.
Trevor also came.
And here is Ashley with Scott and Hannah.
It was a great week, with lots of family and friends and fun.
