The men Framed up the area between the cement pads for cart washing.
Then Fixing up the water Flow that comes into the 'river', so it won't Flood.

That night there were Finish Friends and Food.

We had Stina VanCott, her four kids and husband, as well as her parents, who are Finishing up a Four month visit.

That was fun.

Here we are with Stina.

and Stina with one of her twins.

Fabulous Food, Fun Friends From Finland

At Mosida on Tuesday, we were back at Rock Creek Hollow, this time some fowl friends kept an eye on us after their Mother flew away.

It was fun, but messy to paint the old tables

and Sister Lathrop points out the newly Fouled table, before we could even Finish painting.

The guys Finished up the cement work with Finesse.

That night it was all fancy footwork at the Hoedown.  Barb and Robin decided it the only day to get in some fun with friends to celebrate my birthday!

There were more girls than boys so the guys were in demand.

But Barb got out there for the Boot Scootin' Boogie.

On Wednesday I Finally put in the Flowers that will Forever remind me of Ben.

and noticed that this wisteria, that's been here For Fifteen years Finally bloomed.

and after Five or more years, the wisteria on the back is blooming proFusely

Isn't a flurry of flower fabulousness?

Having Fun with displays at work on Wednesday.

While Dad was fixing to get the handcarts all set  in fine display for the forthcoming arrival of our young friends.

There was some more fancy footwork that night as well.

Such Fabulous Fun For five & four hours.

At work that day I had some fine friends come by. This is LaVern, of Mosida Fame, and her sister Careen.

Then some more Mosdia Friends stopped by, the Smiths.  So here we are four of the 18 missionaries at Mosida.

After work we headed up to Bear Can Flats, (Up Payson Canyon, now called Kawanis Park) for a Finnish connection wedding.  Sister Maren Ostlund from our second mission. Her bishop was my cousin Berk Nebeker, out in Maryland.  However, her Dad said Burk has retired now, and is living in Arizona.

They painted the wood flowers for their decor.  It was really beautiful.

and here are Sisters Jensen and Watts, and Elder Hale with his wife Lisel, who is a twin to our missionary, Sister Allen.  Gwyneth Allen, who married our Elder Hall couldn't be there because Elder Hall was in a motorcycle accident, he had been on the way to take his Final Final, and he's been in the hospital for four weeks.  Yikes.

We drove to Orem after to check out Ashley's Fine selection of wine bottles for my eventual garden path.  We brought some home along with these fabulous flowers for our garden. Thanks sweetie pie.

Working at the Grove Vintage on Friday, I found items with words to make an #FJnine collage for Instagram.

Dad had headed to Darby's while I worked and got the sealer on her cement board so it's all ready to tile.

He also had fun affixing the tiles to the wall in her kitchen.

at the Grove that day I ran across this hilarious miscommunication on line.

After work, I picked Dad up from Darby's house to head up to Ogden for the Acorn Antique Show.

A funny face French fashion doll in a USA patriotic dress.  I laughed because I once had a French Fashion doll that I dressed in a USA patriotic costume as well.  It took mine forever to sell.

I also heard, in visiting with a dealer named Alice, who I got to know doing this show years ago, that Joan of Mormon Antique Traders had passed away.  She's the second dealer whose passing I have heard of this week.

After the antique show we continued to Logan where we checked in to a fun old bed and breakfast.

Its called the Riter Mansion.  We had a fine visit with the owner and met other guests who had stayed here 19 years ago for their honeymoon, and had come back for their anniversary.  The owner was new to the house then, and they have made it work.

More Importantly, Saturday was Ian's birthday.  Congrats to you and your furry friend.

And now for the main event.  We are at the Northern Utah Vintage Market days.

Dad found a great place to rest his FEET.

And later, at the DI in Ogden, on our way home, another feathered friend, came to keep him company.

Last of all, we stopped at Trader Joe's for our favorites frozen Veggie meals, not for the flower frenzy shown above, the day before Mother's day.  It reminded us of waiting in line during covid to shop there..

Then after starting Mother's Day and my Birthday at church, we headed to Trevor's Family Home for a celebration brunch. I thought his colorful outfit would go well with mine!

We enjoyed the fun, food & fabulous family!

Darby flying her boy Van.

We even got to enjoy the donuts Brittany sent and a few minutes of her company.  We had also brought FRUIT that Davin's Family had sent, though their kids weren't feeling well, and they were all were so missed.

Funny funny.

When we got home, we got a few minutes on the Fone with Emily, who sent news of Abigail's adored Bear of the 3 Bears fame from last week's blog.

We hope you were able to follow all the f's that found their way into our week.  We thought of calling it,

Feathered Fowls, Fancy Footwork & Finnish Friends Find Flowers & Fabulous Family Food & Fun. But alas, even I am not that silly. We also hope that you all celebrated your Mother and the joy of life in general.
