On Monday we spent the day cleaning up for our luncheon on Tuesday.
I spent a good 4 hours cleaning the garden house. It was so full of old vines and dead leaves that it looked like a scene from Jumanji, definitely crazy. Dad was in the house vacuuming and mopping, bless his cotton socks.
On Tuesday morning I got the table set for lunch.
Dad took this picture of us with our guests, the Jamsas, the Mottishaws and the Kervinens.
and here we are after dinner.
Us out saying goodbye to our guests.
That night we met up with the Heuers at Thanksgiving point to see Escape from Germany about the miracles surrounding the missionaries in Germany fleeing at the beginning of WWII
The next morning, I saw this crazy little polkadot 3 petal flower, in with my pansies. It was gone the next day. How crazy is that?
At work on Wednesday, I noticed this picture of Alice in Wonderland ... she reminds me of Abbie, but Emily did not think so, kind of crazy though.
When I got home from work, Dad showed me his project. I've had the two table leaves for at least 20 years, and now they have a permanent home. I took the table into the mall on Thursday. I bought the machine at the DI in Centerville on our way up to the Willey House in Mendon a few weeks ago. We will end up making 100's of dollars of the $15 purchase, between making the drawers into a set, and selling the machine itself separately. So Crazy
And speaking of crazy, this gal came into the mall that day and looks just like Kathie
I showed the pictures to Scott and he thought it was Kathy, even though Kathy has red hair. The Crazy thing is that she has the same mannerisms as Kathy too. Definitely a double ganger, especially, since her hair style and clothing is also just what Kathy wears.
I added a few items to my patriotic booth that day.
That night Dad and I went to Kylie Moe's wedding reception that was held at Nickle City in Orem, where they went on their first date. How fun is that? I am here with Robin and Kitty Bradford, the gal in the Moe and Heuer's Highland ward who tipped Barb off about seeing Wicked, when the Moes and we went to New York City back in, I think, 2003 or 4. Thank you, Thank you Kitty! If it weren't for you, Wicked would not be my favorite play, and I wouldn't have Elfaba for a license plate. Just crazy when you think of it.
And speaking of Crazy, look at the expression on Robin's face ... and that fact that this is how Becca and Brady spent their 17th anniversary.
and this is crazy cute squared!!
Here's the post Dad did for the Summer's anniversary on FB.
They sure had fun meeting up with former clients, like Brandon and Kylie Ann Moe. Here she shows off the critter she got using a skill crane.
Here is Brittany, the Moe's cousin and her husband Daniel.
Terry Quigg is having fun.
Robin with the Quiggs.
She used the skill crane with my card and won me a critter.
Evidently, she thought it was crazy too.
I passed the critter along to Donelle, Brittany's mom, as only one of her grandsons had won one. She is shown here with her and Barb's older brother Karl.
Karl's wife Caroline with Kelsy and Donelle.
Dad with Robin, Becca and Brady...
snoozing ... and Emily wasn't even there to tell them too, which when you think about it is also pretty crazy.
John, Kylie, me and Dad. What a fun and crazy way to hold a wedding reception.
Here's a picture of the bride and groom in more formal attire.
On Friday Dad and I worked on projects. Here he is working on the drawer set from the Singer sewing machine whose base formed the table he did on Wednesday.
Didn't he do a fabulous job? I did do a bit of sanding and then used Restorafinish to make it look even better. I did some restoration work on two little tables, and mostly painted a bench for the fleaology that is coming up.
Then he took off to work on another coat of mud in Ashley's bathroom and he picked up some more paint for my projects too. Thanks honey.
That night we met up with the Summer to attend Reagan's end of the year dance concert.
It was really a lot of fun.
Calipsoish crazy.
She definitely has moves.
Reagan was having so much fun.
Her leg position here seems crazy impossible.
Here are her cheer leaders, except Titan.
Afterward we headed to Cupbop, a first for us, but definitely not a last.
Madi can't quite get enough on the chopsticks, and she is so inventive, she finds another way.
a Crazy way!
Here is Reagan with her besty who came along.
Here we are at the Orem Temple for the first time, on Saturday, as we came to celebrate Kylie and John's wedding.
Barb and Randy's family with Donelle's family after the ceremony.
Here I am with Robin showing of my crazy magnetized knife at the Wedding Breakfast at Brunch House in Provo at 4:30 ... most wedding breakfasts are earlier in the afternoon, and have dinner foods, but in this case it was almost dinner time, and it really was a breakfast. A very delicious kind of breakfast, now that's just happy crazy.
Here we are with the Bride.
And the mother of the bride too.
What a great week we had, and Scott got to speak in Stake Conference this morning. The choir he missed out on sang, Come Thou Font of Every Blessing, I know he was sorry to miss that.
