So this is how the cookie crubls. Yep this is the huge 26,000 sq ft home of one of the cofounders of Crumbl Cookies. It was on the home tour this past week.
Kathy, who I work with went to see the home when it was on home tour and took pictures of all the book cases, because a couple of months ago the decorators for the home came in and bought about $2500 worth of books. $1,500 worth of the books were from me, I am guessing some of the book in in these pictures went through my hands on their was to they Cookie Crumbl home.
In other news, that is sooo last week, the Okada family went to Hawaii for their Mom's birthday. Loved all the pictures but these were our favorites, you know, the Okada-Perkins part of the fun.
And then on Monday, in a quiet little corner of my bathroom, where the sun only ever shines in the 'north side' bathroom window in the garret, very early in the morning, around the week of mid-summer, I decided to capture it. The light her comes through the eyebrow window in the room, and through the brackets that hold up the window shelf. I think its just delightful, so I thought I'd share. Yes, as a matter of fact, I am very easily entertained.
I made up these floral hats on Monday for the big bins I am putting together for supplying the shop when we're on our coming mission.
And in our wild garden, the vines have climber the door. I've not tidies the little house yet this year, now with the climbing vines I hate to break up the sweet scene.
Not sure what is going on in this sweet scene, but this is a fun picture I borrowed from Nell's facebook.
and here is an oldie of Nell and me at one of our final fleaologies, this one at Olson's Garden Shoppe from back in the day. (I was searching out of Fleaology Garage Sale pics to advertise the sale we had yesterday. It just gave me warm memories of our partership back before we headed out on our first mission ten years ago.
Other cute ones that popped up were McKenna and Adi in my kitchen when it had white cabinets,
and even earlier, this one of Kimmy when the cabinets were brown. How blessed I am to have so many wonderful grandkids ... of course every one of these are girls, but our grandsons are just as adorable.
Something else adorable is this gal who came into Treasures on Wednesday to buy an old ladder, because SHE is building a tree house. What a great time to be a woman!!
It was a pretty quiet week through Thursday. I did bins on Monday and Tuesday, Dad worked on projects and went to the temple to do a shift twice. Several times this week we got to watch Midsomer Murders (Thanks to the Kews who introduced us) every night. I love ending out day that way when we can manage it.

On Friday after sorting stuff for the garage sale the next day, I spent the rest of the doing cleaning the house and organizing my bins sorting stuff in the carriage house, getting it all tucked away, to make room for our Mosida reunion the next day. I even managed to get the table set for the party.
Friday was the celebrated midsummer day for the Scandinavian countries. Its always the closest Friday to midsummer day which is June21. I found this celebration on some Swedes Insta account. Loos fun.
In Finland the usual midsummer celebration includes a wife on a raft in a lake. Our lovely friends, the Londons, who live in Morgon (these are some of their grands) do not have a lake, so they just have a big BBQ for family and friends.
Here are some of the invited guests. Lynn London is in the yellow, the pendant necklaces that 3 of us are wearing are made by a jewelry company called Kalavala (After the name of their epic creation poem)
And the Londons decided to borrow a Mayday celebration from the Swedes. but in this case its a midsummerday pole.
Here Rick London gets the Maypole ready to go.
Lynn steps in to control the Maypole traffic.
It really was so fun to watch.
Here Lyn directs her grands ...
Rick London with the Shurtz who served as the office couple between our two Finniah missions.
The Shurtz, Sister Wade and a friend who served a mission in the Finnish Temple.
Finnish T-shirts
More partiers.
Then it was up bright and early to have an antique garage sale with friends, this is Chuck,
Keith had his worst sale ever. We also had a gal name Teri, and her friend who came. Teri left at 11 sales were so slow. Our friend Bruce also brought some things to sell, though he could not stay as he was running the Strawberry Days sale at the Grove. I did the best with $350, but I was selling stuff at closeout prices.
Clancy is Katie (Sherri Oldhams daughter who runs fleaology now) and I gave her a Josef Original birthday figurine for her birthday cake next month when she will turn 7.
I don't know if you can tell but he is wearing a crown he made of some paper clamps I had for sale. I just love this family, he's in my Primary class.
Here is the whole Worthin family.
My friend Julie took this picture of the smoke and ash coming of the fire in the hills about Eureka. It clouded the sale and dropped ash on eveyrthing by afternoon.
After Dad helped me get everything taken down, he headed to SLC where he sang with his chorus for a local celebration
